Vision The History Department prepares students for a wide range of careers by teaching a core set of transferable skills through the study of local to global level history.

The Department of History aims at fulfilling the aspirations of the students, researchers and faculty members and those who have interest in historical studies. The Department of History was established in 1998 and has been showing continuously a very good growth in academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Department of History organizes debates and discussions on various history related topics to motivate the students. Moreover, the dept also organizes study tours & visits at historical places, arranges guest lectures, wallpaper presentations, workshops, seminars & conferences occasionally. The Department of History is also very keen in providing ICT facilities and other technological resources to the students. We believe on the strength of history to change and modify the present.
